Housing Intent

In order to maintain your eight consecutive semesters of guaranteed housing, you must complete the housing intent form by the deadline each year. The housing intent form asks if you wish to remain in on-campus housing and if you want to switch buildings (either as an individual or as a group of up to four residents). This information determines building assignments for the next academic year. Your specific room assignment will follow your house’s room assignment process.

If you decide to live off-campus, you can cancel your housing without penalty by submitting the housing cancellation form ahead of the penalty-free deadline.

After you submit your housing intent form, you will receive your building placement from Housing & Residential Services and a roster will be sent to your residence’s room assignment chair (RAC) for individual room placements. Once your house’s rooming process is complete, you will be notified by Housing & Residential Services and your room assignment will be visible in the housing portal.
